The Thermotec Mini 4kW and 5kW heat pumps are compact, energy-efficient units designed for small above-ground pools. Ideal for use from May to September, they provide a simple, low-cost heating solution for pools up to 8–10m³ (with a solar cover).

Delivering up to 5kW of heat from just 0.98kW of electricity, they offer a highly efficient alternative to electric heaters—cutting running costs to less than a quarter of a standard 5kW electric heater.

Fully plug-and-play, the unit runs from a standard 13A socket and includes a UK plug, RCD, and 4m power cable for quick installation.

Smart Operation

The integrated flow switch stops the unit when water flow ceases and restarts it automatically when flow resumes, allowing it to run in sync with your pool pump (including timers).

Bluetooth control via the Aqua Temp app allows you to:

• View pool temperature
• Set target temperature
• Turn the unit on/off
• Monitor performance data

Compatibility & Installation

• Suitable for above-ground pools (Intex, Bestway, Doughboy, etc.)
• Connects to 32mm / 38mm (1.25″ / 1.5″) hoses
• Requires minimum flow rate of 1.8m³/hr
• Uses existing pool pump – no additional equipment needed
• Supplied with hosetails, jubilee clips, and fittings

Installation is quick and straightforward—connect inline with your existing pool pipework.
