1. Description

Thermotec 450 pump filter set is suitable for in-ground or above ground pools. Water re-circulation and sand/glass filtration for small residential swimming pools.

Thermotec pump and Filters sets come with a top mounted multi-port 6 way valve. These compact sets include a filters are with modified polypropylene to  resist chemical and atmospheric agents and are made of the highest quality and are very quiet units.

The Thermotec Pump and filter sets offer a wide versatility and maximum quality. In 3 sizes from 300 to 450mm filters for swimming pools with a water volume up to 64m³.
They are compatible with salt water (up to 7 g/liter), chlorinated water, demineralised water.

• Plastic base for pump and filter
• IPX5 rated so we would recommend that the unit needs to be housed in the UK
• Pressure gauge (to show when filter needs back washing)
• 2 x Threaded stepped 32/38mm Hosetails
• Pump Inlet has 38mm Glue socket so you may need a 38mm male hosetail and glue to install this unit with 38mm Flexi Hose.
• Pump comes with 2m cable and UK 3-pin plug
• Flow rate of up to 8m3/hr – depending on pipework, bends etc
• Max water temp of 40 degrees
• Requires 3 x 25kg bags of filter sand (75kg) or 52.5kg filter glass media (2/3 bags at 25kg)
• Ideal for use with 38mm(1.5″) pool flexi hose & Jubilee clips

Glass Media

You will need to purchase either sand or glass media for the filtration, which is placed inside the filter tank as per the instructions. We recommend the glass media as it gives better quality filtration.
