1. Description

Krystal Clear SX925 Sand Filter pumps can be a low cost option of swimming pool filtration whilst also being easy to maintain. The sand only needs replacing around every 5 years, making it an inexpensive and practical solution to pool maintenance.

Krystal Clear SX925 Sand Filter is the perfect upgrade to the paper cartridge filter on the 10ft and 12ft framed pools. This Intex Pool Pump & Sand filter fits the 32mm push on flexible hose so there are no additional fittings if you are upgraded from the cartridge filter.

Intex Pool Pump & Sand filter are simple to use and easy to operate filters that perform far better than standard cartridge filters. The 6 way valve on the Intex sand filter make maintenance easy giving options to backwash, rinse, recirculate, drain, filter and close system. There is also a built in 24 hour timer to enable you to set automatic filtration times for the pool to save on daily maintenance.

If you will be using a heat pump, you may also need to purchase an additional piece of hose to go from the heat pump back to the pool.

25kg bag of glass filter media		See section 4 above, to see how many bags you will need as they vary for each model. Glass media has a life span of 5 years per bag, where as sand media only has 3 years.
Pool Hose		You may need to purchase an additional length of pool hose to connect from your heat pump to the pool We sell both 1.5″ pool hose and 1.25″ pool hose
Rigid Pipe Conversion Kit		A Rigid Pipe conversion kit is available if you want to use solid pipe with these units.
Intex/Bestway Hose Adaptor A		Intex/Bestway Hose Adaptor A : the 38mm male screw nut is ideal to fasten on to the Krystal clear pump filter set to add a section of either 32/38mm pool hose on the stepped hosetail as shown
Intex/Bestway Hose Adaptor B		Intex/Bestway Hose Adaptor B to connect 38mm hose (with a grey female nut) to 32mm pool hose or a pool with a 32mm outlet/spout.
